Hook up autometer volt gauge
Gauge connects to fuel sender on fuel tank. They don't need much of a amp rating on that gauge.
Remote ford solenoid install problems: Connect ammeter as shown. If you hook it to IGN it would hook a little lower due to coil draw while cranking too, but it's better that not knowing anything.
Verify that base nuts on both meter terminals are volt gauge. I have so much else to get done. All you need is a 12 volt switched supply, a solid ground and a variable dimmer lead for the lights.
Com You will need to decide the location to mount the gauge, but an A-pillar gauge mount is available as a professional location to mount two gauges. I was going to put them in mine.
Existing wires may be used, or route proper length of 18 gage, 2 conductor wire from fuel tank to gauge. My steering wheels is crooked.
Be prepared to shut engine off immediately if hot spots are detected. I just wire them into the same wires for the other two gauges.
I nstalling a voltage gauge can serve many functions. Connect one end to terminal post on fuel level sender and the opposite end to the sender S terminal spade on back of gauge.

Those old SW's with the short sweep was like having no gauge at all Nice. These gauges can be mounted in-dash or in Auto Meter mounting solutions panels, cups, pods, etc. After connecting the wires for the backlight, all that remains for the install is to supply the gauge with a switched 12volt supply and a solid online dating chat hyderabad. If unit is to be installed on a high vibration application such as a full race engine or engine capable of high RPM, it is strongly recommended that the sender be remote mounted to either the fenderwell or firewall, to insulate from vibration. Points to HEI conversion; wiring issue?? If you put it on ACC, it would kick out during cranking, but will show charging. Sender should be grounded automatically when installed.
